The goofs at MSNBC have been droning on for hours about “Golly, we don’t understand why the Republicans are blocking an FBI investigation.”
It is not complicated and it is an insult to our intelligence for these talking heads to feign mystery with the question. Plain and simple, if there were an FBI investigation, it is now perfectly clear that the FBI will find that Kavanaugh is a sexual predator — especially when he is falling down drunk, which evidently has happened a lot. And that could not just disqualify Kavanaugh from the SCOTUS, but could be grounds from removing him the Circuit Court, and possibly result in disbarment.
So, if any of the “wavering” republicans (Murkowsky, Snow, Flake, ...) demands an FBI investigation, Trump will immediately pull the nomination.
